1. Highcliffe Food & Arts Festival

When: Sat 14 & Sun 15 June, 11 am–5 pm (4 pm Sunday)

Where: Lymington Road & Recreation Ground, Highcliffe BH23 5EG

What to Expect:

Over 90 artisan food & drink stalls and 60+ arts & crafts booths

Cookery demos by celebrity & local chefs in the “Local Legends Food Theatre”

Live music stages, family entertainment, a kids’ kitchen, craft zones and much more

Entry: Free – donations appreciated

Tips: Arrive early to avoid crowds and sample more.

Take cash or contactless (some stalls may lose signal).

Dogs on leads are welcome .

Road closures/detours in effect—public transport (Morebus X1/X2) or parking nearby recommended .

2. Highcliffe Castle & Pop-Up Sunday

Visit the restored castle rooms (Great Hall, Penleaze Wing) and scenic cliff-top gardens.

Sunday pop-up includes vintage cars, artisan stalls, live music, and BBQ—free to visit with donations welcome.

3. Barton-on-Sea Beach & Cliff Walk

A lovely nearby coastal walk with dramatic views over the Isle of Wight—perfect for a picnic or light surf.

4. New Forest Country Walks & Wild Pony Spotting

Explore woodland trails near New Milton, with charming pub stops en route and chances to see the iconic New Forest ponies.

5. Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum

An indoor gem showcasing vintage motorcycles—a great backup in case of showery weather.
